Diving gloves for freediving

Showing all 2 results

Freediving gloves aren’t just some protection against cold – they’re helpers that let you better handle the underwater environment while protecting your hands from sharp stuff or stinging sea creatures.

In cooler waters you simply need gloves, otherwise your fingers get stiff and you lose feeling in them. Stiff hands mean worse equipment control and less safety. Quality neoprene gloves keep you warm while staying flexible enough for delicate work.

When choosing, it mainly depends on neoprene thickness and how they’re made. Thinner gloves give you better feel but protect less against cold. Seams and overall construction matter too – they must handle sharp rocks and salt water.

Some have textured palms for better grip or are reinforced where they wear out most. Size needs to fit right – too loose lets water in, too tight cuts off your hands.

It’s worth investing in good gloves – you’ll feel the difference on every dive.
